Dear SES family,
The new year has started, and all the committees are formed.
This year, however, will be slightly different from the preceding years as SES celebrates its 7th Lustrum! Therefore, a Lustrum Committee has been formed to make the 35th year of existence unforgettable for our association.
As a Lustrum is only celebrated every 5 years, we hope that both students from all years and alumni will be able to join us for some great parties, borrels and other events. Every (former) SES-member is welcome to come and celebrate with us! Within the next few weeks, we will host a ‘network borrel’ so the different generations of SES and European Studies can get to know each other. Old and new members, alumni and professors are welcome to share their experiences and enjoy a drink with the SES family.
Our committee already has a lot of great ideas for the upcoming months to celebrate the Lustrum Year with you. We have decided to organise several events and honour 35 years of SES throughout the whole year. This Monday, we will launch one of our biggest events, so stay tuned for more updates!
Much love from the Lustrum Committee,
Lobke Fennema, Nell Detré, Sanne de Vroome, Sam Blokker, Jette Kok and Sophie Eisenberger
