During the European Studies course there is a possibility to do an internship during the first semester of your 3rd year (without study delay). A valuable internship then can prove both a great experience of working life and count as credits towards your degree. Following your studies, internships can still be very helpful to further develop and orientate yourself in a career path.
Finding a good internship can be very hard and time-consuming. It can be difficult to know where to look. Here we’ve compiled a short list of useful starting-places to help in the search:
Europea.eu – the main site for internships and traineeships for all the EU institutions. Here you can find all the possibilities in each institution and the requirements for each position
European Cultural Foundation – An independent organisation that creates civil society initiatives in arts and culture for a more open and inclusive Europe
Euractiv – This site advertises internships with a European focus. They range from Think Tanks on Ukraine to Corporate Law affairs at a European Law firm
EuroBrussels – Another Job site focused on European Affairs, mainly with positions based in Brussels
