Besides the annual SESMUN, the SES organises several debates and pub lectures throughout the year. Two to three times the Debate Committee will invite all members to discuss topics that are currently relevant in the European sphere. In order to have a certain level of expertise during these events the topic will be explained in depth by guest speakers, lecturers and talking groups. We either gather in one of the university buildings or meet up in a bar where we can enjoy a beer while debating with our fellow members and the invited experts. Topics which were discussed last year were for example the Common European Asylum System or the question of repatriating IS fighters in Europe
