The treasurer is responsible for the finances of the association. This includes creating and overlooking the annual budget of the association as well as the committees and event-specific budgets, recording transactions, and managing revenue streams. The responsibilities of the treasurer are thus centered around general bookkeeping and making sure that the money of the association is spent according to the financial capacities and policy of the association. 

For this purpose, the treasurer is the one to reach out to public sponsors for funds and subsidies for specific events, and is the first contact person of each committee’s treasurer. 

During the GA´s of the association, the treasurer presents the budget and financial realization of the association.
